Talpe Beach is a beach located near the city of Galle in the southern province of Sri Lanka. It is a popular tourist destination among locals and foreigners.
The villagers say that around 50 years ago, rock pools were cut from corals and the pools here were used to soak coconut husks to separate coconut coir.Some pools are filled with sand. The best time to visit is early morning from March to April. Travel about 11.2 kilometers from Galle city towards Matara and then meet the Talpe beach. Currently, Talpe beach can be called as one of the most attractive beaches for local and foreign people and a beautiful place to have fun.
